What men's steel-toed shoe have you found is most comfortable?

Preferably leather, not mesh. Any of the following styles will do: standard work shoe appearance, boot or or non-mesh running/tennis shoe-style. Non-mesh, because the management here doesn%26#039;t want anything that is flammable. I am an engineer and I am out on the shop floor 50% of the time vs. at my desk.

There are also titanium and fiberglass toed safety shoes. Both are substantially lighter than steel and have suitable ANSI safety ratings.

Red Wing makes several styles with non-metallic safety toes. See links below

Another link below is an online catalog of steel-toed shoes from B.A. Mason. They have shoes, boots, and tennis shoe styles.

I bought some fiberglass toed boots with the plans of wearing them through airports. That was before TSA started making everyone take off their shoes to go through the metal detectors.

Reply:Red Wings... had a pair for years and they were non-slip and comfortable
